Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) And Tianjin Dongjiang Bonded Port Area (DBPA) Conduct Strategic Cooperation

On April 18, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and Tianjin Dongjiang Bonded Port Area (DBPA) Management Committee signed the strategic cooperation agreement in Dalian, in a bid to jointly promote the smooth piloting of the futures bonded delivery business and the development of both sides.

Mercado Alternativo Bursatil Welcomes NPG Technology

MAB today welcomed NPG TECHNOLOGY to its segment for Growth Companies. It is the first company to join this market in 2014 and has a market capitalisation of € 16.6 million. The company has financed itself through a capital increase of €5 million that will be used to support its international expansion.

EEX: Daily Record On The Natural Gas Spot Market

On Thursday, 17 April 2014 EEX achieved a new daily record on its Natural Gas Spot Market. In total, 1,844,390 MWh were traded on that day in the German (GASPOOL, NCG) and Dutch (TTF) market areas. 90 members participated in trading. The previous record was at 1,398,570 MWh traded on 17 January 2014. The Natural Gas Spot Market is tradable on PEGAS, the common gas trading platform of EEX and Powernext.

Luxembourg Stock Exchange Lists Indian Rupee Bond For International Finance Corporation

On 22 April 2014, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange admitted to trading to its regulated market a bond denominated in Indian rupees (INR), making this the fifth bond in this currency to be listed in Luxembourg.

Global connectivity is the theme of LME Week Asia this year, and today marked a key step towards fulfilling the vision of connecting the LME in London, Hong Kong, and the Mainland. HKEx’s Asia Commodities team announced four new commodities contracts this afternoon: London Aluminium, Copper and Zinc Futures, all five tonne contracts, and API 8 Thermal Coal Futures. All four contracts are expected to be launched in the second half of this year, subject to regulatory approval and market readiness.

Direct Edge Trading Notice #14-13: Enhancement To EDGX Attribution Program

EDGX ExchangeSM (EDGX®) will introduce a new enhancement to the Attribution program, pending approval by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Effective on or about June 18, 2014, Members will now have the ability to identify their orders as retail using a standard identifier as an alternative to using their firm’s MPID. The retail identifier will be disseminated via EdgeBook Attributed, along with other Attribution messages.
