The following equity index futures and options contracts are delivered on April 19, 2024 at their respective final settlement prices:

• IF2404 CSI 300 index futures contracts and the IO2404 series CSI 300 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 3540.00;
• IC2404 CSI 500 index futures contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 5314.91;
• IM2404 CSI 1000 index futures contracts and the MO2404 series CSI 1000 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 5257.99;
• IH2404 SSE 50 index futures contracts and the HO2404 series SSE 50 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 2430.11.

Man Convicted For $110M Cryptocurrency Scheme - US Justice Department’s First Cryptocurrency Open-Market Manipulation Case

A federal jury in New York convicted a man residing in Puerto Rico today of commodities fraud, commodities market manipulation, and wire fraud in connection with the manipulation on the Mango Markets decentralized cryptocurrency exchange. 

Remarks By US Secretary Of The Treasury Janet L. Yellen At The 2024 Financial Action Task Force Ministerial

Today, Ministers representing the 40 members of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) met in Washington and reaffirmed the FATF’s role in protecting the global financial system from illicit activity. Ministers committed the FATF to taking further action to combat terrorist financing and endorsed additional work to prevent sanctions evasion related to proliferation finance. Ministers also agreed to continue efforts to strengthen the legal and operational frameworks for financial transparency and asset recovery to combat systemic corruption and seize illicit proceeds.  Finally, the Ministers agreed to increase resources for the FATF to support the upcoming round of mutual evaluations.

Today, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen met with Italy’s Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgetti on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. During their meeting, Secretary Yellen and Minister Giorgetti exchanged views on shared G7 priorities amid Italy's presidency. Secretary Yellen also discussed ways to unlock the value of immobilized Russian sovereign assets to support Ukraine’s continued resistance and long-term reconstruction, and ways to constrain Russia’s access to the goods it needs to build weapons, including the role China plays in supplying Russia’s military industrial complex. Secretary Yellen and Minister Giorgetti also exchanged views on Chinese industrial practices that cause overcapacity and the potential impact on manufacturers in the United States, Italy, and globally.

Yellen met with United Kingdom Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt on the sidelines of the IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington, DC.  Secretary Yellen discussed ways to continue providing near-term financial assistance to Ukraine, as well as ways to unlock the value of immobilized Russian sovereign assets to support Ukraine’s continued resistance and long-term reconstruction. MIAX Exchange Group - Options And Equities Markets - Approval To Amend The FINRA Codes Of Arbitration Procedure And Code Of Mediation Procedure To Revise And Restate The Qualifications For Representatives In Arbitrations And Mediations

FINRA has received approval to amend the Code of Arbitration Procedure for Customer Disputes, the Code of Arbitration Procedure for Industry Disputes, and the Code of Mediation Procedure to revise and restate the qualifications for representatives in arbitrations and mediations in the forum administered by FINRA Dispute Resolution Services (‘‘DRS’’). The amendments disallow compensated non-attorney representatives from representing parties in the DRS forum and clarify the circumstances in which any person would be prohibited from representing a party in the DRS forum. In addition, the amendments codify that a student enrolled in a law school participating in a law school clinical program or its equivalent and practicing under the supervision of an attorney may represent investors in the DRS forum.
