  • SGX To Launch Petrochemical Derivatives

    In response to the increasing demand for more effective risk management solutions for petrochemical industry participants, Singapore Exchange (SGX) will introduce a set of five SGX Petrochemical Derivatives tools that will be launched in two phases. In the first phase, SGX Platts PX CFR China Swaps and Futures will be launched on2 December 2014. For the second phase, the following Polyolefin contracts will be launched on 19 January 2015:

    Ramin Toloui was confirmed by the United States Senate today to serve as the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Assistant Secretary for International Finance. In this position, Toloui is responsible for leading Treasury’s work on international monetary policy, coordination with the G-20, and regional and bilateral economic issues.
