Borsa İstanbul And Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited (PMEX) Sign An MoU

Borsa İstanbul and Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited (PMEX) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in order to set out a framework for establishing a cooperative relationship between the exchanges that are leading the commodity futures markets in Turkey and Pakistan, respectively.

Chicago-based R.J. O’Brien & Associates (RJO), the oldest and largest independent futures brokerage and clearing firm in the United States, today announced that its London-based affiliate R.J. O’Brien Limited (RJO Limited) has successfully gone live on  the London Metal Exchange (LME) following its July 23 approval as a Category 2 clearing member.

Last week, Shenzhen Component Index stood at 12753.0 points after adding 3.1%. SME Index edged up 3.2% to 8605.3 points. ChiNext Index advanced 1.5% to 2577.0 points. Total turnover for stocks and funds on SZSE was US$362.4 billion, or a 24.1% decrease from the week before.

Dalian Commodity Exchange Cooperates With Futures And Insurance Companies To Introduce Agricultural Product Price Insurance

On August 14, People’s Insurance Company of China (PICC) and Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) held the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation of “‘Insurance + Futures’ – Water of Financial Innovation Irrigating Tree of ‘San Nong (Agriculture, Rural Areas and Farmers)’ Development” in Dalian. At the ceremony, PICC and DCE signed a strategic cooperation agreement. PICC’ s Dalian Branch signed egg price insurance and corn price insurance contracts with Beijing Vica Group, Guiyong Corn Planting Specialized Cooperative, and Huamao Grain Planting Specialized Cooperative. PICC has also signed a business cooperation agreement with Xinhu Futures Co., Ltd., generating the first agricultural product price insurance policy with the use of futures in China.
