UBS To Buy Back Certain Outstanding Bonds In Public Tender Offer - UBS Offers To Buy Back Certain Outstanding Bonds With An Aggregate Principal Amount Equivalent To Approximately CHF 16 Billion

UBS announces today that UBS AG is making cash tender offers to purchase 17 issues of its senior and subordinated debt and covered bonds having an aggregate principal amount equivalent to approximately CHF 16 billion. The offers are subject to customary conditions and restrictions and are subject to increase or decrease as set out in the tender offer memorandum. The tender offer period will end on 15 December 2015, unless extended, re-opened or earlier terminated as provided in the tender offer memorandum. The specific series of securities covered by each offer will be specified in the formal announcement of each offer to be published today.

In New Partnership, ISE ETF Ventures Launches First Latin American Real Estate ETF

ISE ETF Ventures today announced that it has partnered with Tierra Funds and XP Gestão de Recursos to launch the first exchange-traded fund (ETF) that offers exposure to a basket of Latin American real estate investment trusts (REITs) and real estate operating companies (REOCs). The ETF, which tracks the Solactive Latin America Real Estate Index (index ticker: LAREPR), begins trading today on NYSE Arca.

BOX Options Exchange Price Improvement Activity For November

In the month of November price improved contracts on BOX Options Exchange (“BOX”) averaged 306,462 per day. Price improvement versus the prevailing NBBO for contracts submitted via BOX’s price improvement auction, PIP, averaged $603,928 per day, while total savings to investors in November was $11.47M. With this, BOX has saved investors over $694M since its inception in 2004. Overall average daily trading volume on BOX in the month of November was 465,614 contracts.

Canadian Securities Regulators Require Use Of SEDAR For Certain Exempt Market Filings

Members of the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) have announced that amendments to National Instrument 13-101 System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR) and Multilateral Instrument 13-102 System Fees for SEDAR and NRD (the Amendments) will come into force on May 24, 2016.

Canadian Securities Regulators Adopt Cooperative Oversigh Model For Clearing Agencies And Trade Repositories

Eight provincial securities regulators today signed a Memorandum of Understanding Respecting the Oversight of Clearing Agencies, Trade Repositories and Matching Service Utilities (MOU). The MOU formalizes the manner in which the jurisdictions cooperate and coordinate their efforts to oversee clearing agencies, trade repositories and matching service utilities (Covered Entities) in order to promote their safety and efficiency, as well as contribute to the management of systemic risk.

Canadian Securities Regulators Publish New Requirements For Clearing Agencies

The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) today published National Instrument 24-102Clearing Agency Requirements (NI 24-102) and its Companion Policy, which adopt international standards for recognized clearing agencies that operate as a central counterparty, central securities depository or securities settlement system. NI 24-102 also formalizes the framework for the recognition or exemption of all clearing agencies seeking to carry on business in a Canadian jurisdiction.

Deutsche Börse: Covestro AG And Ströer SE To Be Included In MDAX - Deutsche Börse Reviews Index Composition - Changes To Be Effective As Of 21 December

On Thursday, Deutsche Börse decided on changes to its selection indices, which will become effective on 21 December 2015. The shares of Covestro AG and Ströer SE will be included to the MDAX index and will replace the shares of MAN SE and Kabel Deutschland Holding AG. The shares of MAN and Kabel Deutschland no longer fulfill the criteria to remain in the equity indices of Deutsche Börse AG, as both companies will be leaving the Prime Standard listing segment.
