Xignite Closes $20M Series C Funding Round Led By QUICK Corp. Strategic Round To Help Fuel Fintech Growth In Asia And Europe

Xignite, the leading provider of market data cloud solutions for financial institutions and financial technology companies, today announced that it has raised $20.5 million in a Series C funding round led by Tokyo-based QUICK Corporation, part of the Nikkei Group and Japan’s largest financial information provider. StarVest Partners, Altos Ventures, and Startup Capital Ventures, Xignite’s current investors, also participated. This new round brings Xignite’s total funding to $37 million.

ETFs/ETPs Listed Globally Gathered 13.1 Billion US Dollars In Net New Assets In January 2016, According To ETFGI

Despite difficult market conditions, the global ETF/ETP industry gathered net inflows of US$13.1 billion in net new assets (NNA) in January 2016, according to preliminary data from ETFGI’s January 2016 global ETF and ETP industry insights report. ETFs/ETPs listed globally have now gathered net inflows for 24 consecutive months.

S&P Capital IQ And SNL Unveils New Division Name: S&P Global Market Intelligence

Announced today, and effective immediately, S&P Capital IQ and SNL has rebranded as S&P Global Market Intelligence. The division’s new name is a strategic move forward as part of the integration of the two previously separate businesses, S&P Capital IQ and SNL Financial, under parent company McGraw Hill Financial (NYSE: MHFI). The businesses originally combined following the successful completion of the SNL Financial acquisition by MHFI on September 1, 2015. MHFI also recently announced its intention to rebrand at the corporate level as S&P Global, subject to shareholder vote in April of this year.
