Hong Kong’s Fund Management Business Holds Steady In 2015

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) today released its annual Fund Management Activities Survey (FMAS) which shows that the combined fund management business in Hong Kong decreased slightly by 1.6% year-on-year to $17,393 billion as of 31 December 2015.

Compañía Latinoamericana de Infraestructura & Servicios, (CLISA), a leading Argentinian infrastructure manager and developer, has become the first company from Argentina to list bonds on the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE). CLISA is listing US$200m 9.5% senior notes, due 2023, on the Global Exchange Market (GEM).

Statement By IMF Communications Director Gerry Rice On The Managing Director’s Legal Case In France

In response to press queries, Mr. Gerry Rice, Director of Communications at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), made the following statement today relating to the Managing Director’s legal case in France:
“As we have said before, it would not be appropriate to comment on a case that has been and is currently before the French judiciary. However, the Executive Board has been briefed on recent developments related to this matter, and continues to express its confidence in the Managing Director’s ability to effectively carry out her duties. The Board will continue to be briefed on this matter.”

Moscow Exchange Shareholders To Vote On Consolidation Of Subsidiaries At EGM On 2 September

At its meeting on 21 July 2016, Moscow Exchange"s Supervisory Board resoIved to call an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) to address the question of corporate restructuring of PJSC Moscow Exchange. The EGM will be asked to approve consolidation by PJSC Moscow Exchange of its 100%-owned subsidiaries CJSC MICEX Stock Exchange and MB Technologies and the terms and conditions of the restructuring. The EGM will be held on 2 September 2016.
