    Solactive announces the launch of the Solactive U.S. Founder-Run Companies Index, licensed to Global X Funds as the underlying index for the Global X Founder-Run Companies ETF (BOSS) listing for trading today on BATS. The index follows the price movements of U.S. companies in which the founder also serves as the Chief Executive Officer. This launch follows the successful release of the Solactive Global Founder-Run Companies Index in 2015 and extends the possibility of investing in the same investment theme with US-specific focus.

  • SETL Announces The Launch Of Its Global Engineering Centre And Expansion Of Its Technology Team

    SETL, the financial blockchain specialist, today announced the opening of its Global Engineering Centre in Ipswich, UK. Ten new staff have been recruited to work in the new office and to support SETL’s international expansion, bringing SETL’s total worldwide workforce to 24. The centre was officially opened by Ben Gummer, Member of Parliament for Ipswich and Minister for the Cabinet Office and Paymaster General and by Chairman of the SETL board Sir David Walker.

  • Intercontinental Exchange Announces Agreement To Acquire TMX Atrium From TMX Group

    Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global exchanges and clearing houses and provider of data and listings services, today announced it has entered an agreement to acquire TMX Atrium, a global extranet and wireless services business from TMX Group. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, and the transaction is expected to close within 90 days, subject to regulatory approvals. The financial impact of the transaction will be immaterial and was included in ICE’s financial guidance for 2017.

  • ADGM And Malta Financial Services Authority Sign MOU To Strengthen Cross-Border Cooperation

    Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the international financial centre in Abu Dhabi, and the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to reinforce regulatory cooperation for the supervision of financial institutions, to facilitate joint collaboration and exchange of information as well as support cross border activities. The MoU was signed on 2 February 2017 by Mr Joseph V. Bannister, Chairman of the Malta Financial Services Authority and Mr Richard Teng, Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of ADGM.
