Etihad Airways and Natixis have completed a Sale and Leaseback for two 2016 vintage Airbus A380 aircraft. The annual trading volume at TAIFEX in 2016 stood at a total of 241,678,556 contracts and recorded the second highest in the history. In terms of stock index products, the global market share of TAIFEX increased from 3.63% in 2015 to 4.18% in 2016, with TAIEX Futures (TX) and Mini-TAIEX Futures (MTX) both setting their all-time highs. Moreover, foreign participation in Taiwan futures market has shown an increase from 12.02% in 2015 to 16.13% in 2016, and a significant growth of 22.6% in trading volume.
