Successful ETF/ETP Roundtable - The Latest Edition Of The Event Series Of SIX Swiss Exchange For Professional Investors Focused On Real Estate Markets.

Passive investments in real estate were at the core of the ETF/ETP Roundtable which took place on 22 March 2017. The event held at the ConventionPoint was attended by more than 50 participants from the financial and insurance industry as well as representatives of pension funds and institutional investors. They were welcomed by Danielle Mair, Senior ETFs & ETPs Sales Manager SIX Swiss Exchange, who provided an overview of the latest figures of the Swiss exchange, particularly regarding real estate funds and ETFs.

Office Of The Comptroller Of The Currency Reports Fourth Quarter 2016 Bank Trading Revenue Increased To $6 Billion

Trading revenue of U.S. commercial banks and savings associations increased to $6 billion in the fourth quarter of 2016, $1.7 billion higher than the fourth quarter a year earlier, according to a report released today by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

eVestment Private Markets Study: Private Markets Investors Want More Data, Expect Private Debt Allocations To Rise, Value Team Above All Says New Survey

In the latest eVestment survey of private markets limited partners and consultants, 40% of respondents agreed “it is easy to compare one fund manager’s performance numbers with another on a fair and consistent basis.” While an increase on last year’s findings (22%), it highlights there is still room for improvement: the majority (60%) disagreed and stated they still find the comparative analysis of private markets managers difficult, citing a need for more data and standardization from managers to solve this issue.

ESMA Publishes Two Sets Of Guidelines Under CSDR

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has issued final reports on two sets of guidelines regarding the implementation of the Central Securities Depositary Regulation (CSDR).  The CSDR harmonises the settlement of securities by providing a set of common requirements for central securities depositories (CSDs) operating securities settlement systems.
