NEX (NXG.L), a financial technology company at the centre of global markets, announces today it has signed a Statement of Commitment to adopt the principles of the FX Global Code (the “Code”) across its EBS FX trading platforms and NEX Optimisation services. NEX announced the signing of the Statement of Commitment and introduced a new NEX public register at the Global Foreign Exchange Committee meeting held at the NEX offices in London on 14 November 2017.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced details of the new $27million Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (AIDA) Grant under the Financial Sector Technology and Innovation (FSTI) Scheme. Mr Ravi Menon, Managing Director of MAS, announced the launch of the grant at the Singapore FinTech Festival yesterday. This new grant aims to promote the adoption and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics in financial institutions.

Singapore And Hong Kong Launch A Joint Project On Cross-Border Trade And Trade Finance Platform

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Singapore today to jointly develop the Global Trade Connectivity Network (GTCN), a cross-border infrastructure based on distributed ledger technology (DLT), to digitalise trade and trade finance between the two cities and potentially with an aim to expanding the network in the region and globally.
