Reuters, the world’s largest international multimedia news provider, announced today that it will be partnering with the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE) to host a kick-off event for Media Literacy Week on November 6, 2017. The event, taking place at the Thomson Reuters building in New York, will bring together journalists, pre-K to grade-12 educators, higher education professors and researchers to create a dialogue around teaching media literacy and providing the tools needed to develop critical thinking skills around news and the media.
