EEX Exchange Council Welcomes Changes To German Bidding Zone Legislation

On Wednesday 21st March, the Exchange Council of the European Energy Exchange (EEX) held its first meeting of 2018 in Brussels, chaired by Dr Michael Redanz, Managing Director of EWE Trading GmbH. In the course of the meeting, the Exchange Council addressed a number of topics including an update on the German bidding zone, the progress achieved in the Phelix-DE contract as well as the upcoming Exchange Council elections.

The Soybean Income Insurance of Nanhua Futures, the Corn Price Insurance of Luzheng Futures and that of Yong’an Futures rank the top 3.

Dalian Commodity Exchange: Trial Period Of New Inspection, Quarantine Policy For Imported Soybean Futures Extended

It is learnt that the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) issued the “Notice of Further Promoting the Regulation and Reform Measures of Imported Soybean Futures Delivery Inspection and Quarantine” on February 7, which extended the trial period of the new inspection and quarantine policy for imported soybean futures and released the ports and delivery warehouses of the 1st batch of imported soybean futures. It symbolized that the channel for imported soybean to participate in futures delivery has become smooth, its convenience and sustainability have been further enhanced, and the supervision and reform measures for the inspection and quarantine of imported soybean futures delivery has entered into a new stage.

SEC Charges Recidivist Broker-Dealer In Employee’s Long-Running Pump-And-Dump Fraud

The Securities and Exchange Commission announced charges against Wedbush Securities Inc. for failing to supervise employee Timary Delorme after the broker-dealer ignored numerous red flags indicating that Delorme was involved in a long-running pump-and-dump scheme targeting retail investors. Delorme agreed to settle fraud charges stemming from the same scheme. This is the second SEC action against Wedbush this year and the third since 2014.
