SIX Hosts World’s First Crypto Index ETP Listing By Amun

SIX – which owns and manages the Swiss stock exchange – welcomes Swiss fintech Amun as a new Exchange Traded Product (ETP) issuer to its trading segment. The Amun ETP is the world’s first crypto index ETP listed on a regulated stock exchange. It is based on the Amun HODL5 index, which includes the four top crypto currencies defined by market capitalization: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum Ether (ETH), Ripple (XRP) and Litecoin (LTC). Trading of the new product starts today.

UK Financial Conduct Authority Proposes Introduction Of Price Cap On Rent-To-Own Firms To Protect Vulnerable Consumers From High Costs

The Financial Conduct Authority today proposed to introduce a price cap on the rent-to-own (RTO) sector.The cap, subject to consultation, will come into force on 1 April 2019 providing protection for some of the most financially vulnerable people in the UK. Once in force, the changes are expected to save consumers up to 22.7m per year.

MIAX Emerald Options Exchange Sets February 22, 2019 Launch Date

Miami International Holdings, Inc. (MIH) today announced that MIAX Emerald will launch trading operations on February 22, 2019, pending SEC approval. MIAX Emerald will officially join MIH's other exchanges, MIAX Options® and MIAX PEARL™, as part of the MIAX Exchange Group. Specifically designed as a hybrid market model with pro rata allocation and maker-taker pricing, MIAX Emerald will serve to complement the market models of MIAX Options and MIAX PEARL and expand the MIAX Exchange Group's trade execution capabilities into a market segment currently not offered to its member firms.

CAT Reporting Requirements Presentation Schedule And Registration Information

The CAT NMS, LLC Operating Committee is hosting in-person presentations on options reporting requirements for the Consolidated Audit Trail. During these presentations, the SROs and Thesys CAT LLC will provide information on the reporting of options orders in accordance with the CAT Reporting Technical Specifications for Industry Members;  including detailed discussions of reporting scenarios, implementation timelines and registration.
