  • Euronext Notes Updated Recommendation By Oslo Børs VPS Board Of Directors

    Euronext notes that the Oslo Børs VPS Board of Directors has considered Euronext’s increased offer announced on 11 February 2019 as equal to the updated Nasdaq offer from a purely financial point of view. Euronext also notes that today, following Nasdaq’s announced decision to match Euronext’s offer, the Board of Directors has upheld its recommendation of Nasdaq as the preferred bidder in line with its commitment to do so under any circumstances.

    MIAX Emerald™, the newest U.S. equity options exchange, successfully launched trading operations on March 1st with the rollout of options on its first symbol, IBM. MIAX Emerald will continue listing options on IBM for its first week of trading and begin rolling out additional symbols thereafter. With its launch, MIAX Emerald joins current options exchanges MIAX Options® and MIAX PEARL™ as part of the MIAX Exchange Group™. All three exchanges are subsidiaries of Miami International Holdings, Inc.

  • Amman Stock Exchange: Non-Jordanian Ownership In Companies Listed Reached 51.7%

    The value of shares that were bought by non-Jordanian investors at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) in February 2019 was JD 22.9 million, representing 23.2% of the overall trading value, while the value of shares sold by them amounted to JD 24.8 million. As a result, the net of non-Jordanian investments in February 2019 showed a decrease by JD 1.9 million, compared with an increase by JD 0.6 million during the same month of 2018.
