    The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) has signed a three-party memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Digital Asset (DA) and VMware to work together on distributed ledger technology (DLT) initiatives in Australia and New Zealand.

    Shanghai International Energy Exchange (hereinafter referred to as “the Exchange”), the subsidiary of Shanghai Futures Exchange has released its circular on inviting applications for Market Markers of TSR 20 futures on August 26, 2019 as follows:
    1. Application Requirements
    (1) Having net asset of no less than RMB 50 million or its equivalent in foreign currency;
    (2) Having specialized agencies and personnel responsible for the market-making business, and market-making personnel familiar with the relevant laws and regulations as well as the Exchange’s business rules;
    (3) Having a sound plan for the market-making business, an internal control system and a risk management system;
    (4) Having no record of severe violation of laws and regulations in the past three years;
    (5) Having a stable and reliable technology system for the market-making business;
    (6) Having the experience recognized by the Exchange in trading, market-making or simulated market-making;
    (7) Other requirements prescribed by the Exchange.

  • Nadex Adjusts Strike Width For US Indices Binary Contracts

    Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange act and Commission Regulation Section 40.6(d)(2)(iv), Nadex is providing notice that due to increased volatility in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex US Indices contracts are based, Nadex adjusted the strike width for its Daily US Tech 100 Binary contracts from 6 to 12, its Daily Wall Street 30 Binary contracts from 20 to 40, its Daily US 500 Binary contracts from 3 to 6, and its Daily US SmallCap 2000 from 2 to 4. Additionally, Nadex adjusted the strike width for its Weekly US Tech 100 Binary contracts from 12 to 24, its Weekly US 500 Binary contracts from 12 to 24, its Weekly US SmallCap 2000 Binary contracts from 6 to 12, and finally its Weekly Wall Street 30 Binary contracts from 100 to 200.  The changes began on August 19, 2019 and continued through August 23, 2019.  The changes are planned to continue through September 6, 2019.
