OCC Promotes Davidson To Chief Executive Officer; Warren To Chief Operating Officer

OCC, the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization, today announced changes to its leadership structure. John Davidson, currently President and Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Scot Warren, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Craig Donohue, currently Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will remain at OCC as Executive Chairman. These changes will become effective upon receipt of regulatory approval of by-law and rule changes necessary to effectuate this structure.

Today, SIFMA unveiled the results of the twice annual survey of the chief U.S. economists of many of SIFMA’s global and regional firms, forecasting that the U.S. economy will grow 2.9 percent in 2018 and by 2.6 percent in 2019, unchanged from its mid-year predictions.

These Guidelines establish requirements for credit institutions, investment firms and payment service providers (PSPs) on the mitigation and management of their information and communication technology (ICT) risks and aim to ensure a consistent and robust approach across the Single market. The consultation runs until 13 March 2019.

EEX Publishes Auction Calendar For Poland For 2019

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has published the calendar for the 2019 Polish auctions of EU allowances (EUA) and EU aviation allowances (EUAA) for Poland. The calendar was established in coordination with the the Polish Ministry of the Environment and the European Commission.
