In June 2019, EEX admitted Monsson Trading S.R.L. as a new trading participant on the power derivatives market and the spot market for emission allowances. AOGLOBAL INVESTMENTS SRL and Société Valmy Défense 38 were admitted to the Power Derivatives Market. Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE has been admitted to trading on the derivatives markets for power, freight, emission allowances and agricultural products. Energy Financing Team AG has additionally been admitted to trading in power futures and options at EEX and STX Services B.V. has additionally been admitted the spot market for emission allowances (Primary Auctions).

Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer: Rising Crop Prices And USDA Payment Announcements Lift Farmer Sentiment, Despite Uncertain Economic Environment

Ag producer sentiment rebounded in June as farmers' expressed a more optimistic outlook towards the future of the ag economy. The Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer, based on a mid-month survey of 400 agricultural producers across the U.S., increased to a reading of 126 in June, up 25 points from May.

ESMA Broadens Scrutiny Of Multiple Withholding Tax Reclaim Schemes

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published today a report on its preliminary findings on multiple withholding tax (WHT) reclaim schemes, following a European Parliament (EP) request, and has launched a formal inquiry to gather further evidence from national competent authorities (NCAs) on the supervisory practices regarding those schemes across the European Union (EU).

Eurex June Figures: Eurex Exchange Falls Slightly, EEX And Eurex Repo On An Upward Trend

Eurex, Europe’s largest derivatives exchange and part of Deutsche Börse Group, saw an increase of 12 percent in the number of traded contracts in European equity derivatives (41m compared to 36.5m in June 2018). Across all Eurex markets there was a slight reduction of 7 percent in the number of traded contracts (185.4m compared to 199.8m in June 2018).
