I am particularly pleased to be part of this year's conference because the theme you have chosen has, for some time now, also been a theme of my career as an academic and public servant. Every day, of course, central bankers must bridge science and practice, drawing on the insights that research provides, specifically, because the economy and the world are continuously subject to new circumstances. We must do so, and put those insights into practice, because everyone in the United States, and in Europe, and around the world, depends on a healthy and growing economy, and depends on policymakers making the right decisions to help keep it that way.

Nasdaq Launches PureStream In Europe – A New Tool For Trajectory Trading

Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ) today announced the planned launch of PureStream, a new volume-based trajectory trading solution giving clients access to EU shares on Nasdaq Europe*. PureStream is already available in the US and Canada and is expected to launch on Nasdaq Europe in Q1 2025, pending regulatory approval.

UAE Securities And Commodities Authority Kickstarts World Investor Week 2024 Events

The World Investor Week 2024 events were kickstarted on the trading floor of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX). The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) today released consultation conclusions on proposals to introduce a statutory scheme of arrangement and compulsory acquisition mechanism for real estate investment trusts (REITs) (REIT Scheme Proposal) and an enhanced market conduct regime for listed collective investment schemes (CIS) under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO) (Listed CIS Proposal).
