Japan Exchange Group 3rd Medium-Term Management Plan Update For FY2020

While maintaining the overall framework of the 3rd Medium –Term Management Plan, we will:
- Review concrete measures, flexibly managing costs in response to changes in the environment and the progress of the plan. As part of this, actively develop ways to further diversify the revenue stream, such as by invigorating the comprehensive exchange and creating new data services.
- As ESG becomes an important topic around the world, further strengthen measures to promote sustainability by encouraging the spread of ESG investment and ESG disclosure, as well as improving JPX’s ESG disclosure and ESG ratings as a company.

Bursa Malaysia Successfully Implements ISO 20022 Messaging Standards For Corporate Announcements

Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or the “Exchange”) has successfully implemented ISO 20022 messaging standards for corporate announcements by Public Listed Companies (“PLCs”). Joining other exchanges around the world such as the Australian Securities Exchange, Singapore Exchange, Indonesia Stock Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange, the ISO 20022 message is an international standard accepted and adopted around the world.

In order to implement the requirements of “the four awes (stand in awe of the market, rule of law, professionalism and risks) and one joint force (The capital market’s development needs all the efforts made by all sides)” of the CSRC, SZSE issued Q&As on Relevant Self-discipline Measures on “Brought into Regulation upon Application” in October 2019, to clarify the specific circumstances where securities companies may trigger measures such as “inspection/self-inspection measures” or “suspension of acceptance or handling of related business” due to their past practices in corporate bond business.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange Holds The COVID-19 Prevention And Control Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition Together With The Torch High Technology Industry Development Center Of The Ministry Of Science And Technology

On March 25, the final of the 9th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition - COVID-19 Prevention and Control Technical Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held. The competition is sponsored by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology and co-organized by SZSE. Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of SZSE, provided support of network information platform. The final adopted the form of online multi-party remote interaction for the first time, organized the participating enterprises to lead online roadshows on the High-tech Zone Technology Financial Information Service Platform and interacted with assessors. The competition is open, transparent and professional and is live webcast throughout the process, attracting wide attention from all sectors of society.

Today, the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (“SESC”) recommended that the Prime Minister and the Commissioner of the Financial Services Agency (“FSA”) take administrative disciplinary action against Eastspring Investments Limited1 (hereinafter, “the Company”), an Investment Management Business Operator, an Investment Adviser/Agency and a Type II Financial Instruments Business Operator), pursuant to Article 20(1) of the Act for Establishment of the Financial Services Agency, after the SESC identified the undermentioned deficiencies as a result of its inspection of the Company.
