On June 8, SZSE and Bursa Malaysia jointly held the 2021 China-Malaysia Online Cooperation Conference for the Electric Vehicle Industry. It is a pragmatic measure of the two exchanges to earnestly implement the requirements of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two parties and continuously promote the high-level industrial cooperation between China and ASEAN countries. Three listed companies in Malaysia held online roadshows and connected with ten listed companies in China from relevant industries. Nearly 100 representatives from relevant Malaysian and Chinese industries and institutional investors participated in the conference online and had an in-depth discussion on deepening the two countries’ cooperation in industrial chains and supply chains.

The campaign was organized by the Investor Protection Bureau of China Securities Regulatory Commission (“CSRC”) and SZSE and was undertaken by CSRC Fujian Branch, Industrial Securities, Huafu Securities, etc. Centering on the theme of “remaining true to the original aspiration and undertaking mission, and bringing tangible benefits to investors” of the May 15 Investor Protection Popularization Day 2021, the campaign had 14 investor education sessions held in memorial halls of the CPC history, listed companies, securities traders’ business departments, communities and campuses.
