Fastmarkets ) futures onMay 3 , pending all relevant regulatory reviews. Lithium futures are designed to help market participants manage their battery metals risk, and they represent the latest tool the exchange has launched to help establish a forward curve for a key material in the green economy, joining the recent launch ofCME Group's Cobalt Metal (Fastmarkets ) futures. -

ESMA Publishes Annual Peer Review Of EU CCP Supervision

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s securities markets regulator, has today published its annual peer review report on the supervision of EU Central Counterparties (CCPs) by National Competent Authorities (NCAs). The Peer Review measured the effectiveness of NCA supervisory practices in assessing CCP compliance with EMIR’s requirements on liquidity stress testing.

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU securities regulator, today publishes its third annual statistical report on the Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) sector. The report has found that the sector increased by 15% in 2019 to EUR 6.8trn in net assets from EUR 5.9trn in 2018.

BME: MARF Registers La Finca’s First Commercial Paper Programme For 30 Million Euros

BME’s Fixed Income Market, MARF, has admitted the first Commercial Paper (CP) Programme to trading from La Finca Global Assets SOCIMI. This programme will allow the new issuer flexible access to qualified investors to diversify its financing sources and place CPs up to a maximum outstanding balance of 30 million euros.
