ESMA Makes Available The Results Of The Annual Transparency Calculations For Equity And Equity-Like Instruments

The calculations made available include:

• the liquidity assessment as per Articles 1 to 5 of CDR 2017/567;
• the determination of the most relevant market in terms of liquidity as per Article 4 of CDR 2017/587 (RTS 1);
• the determination of the average daily turnover relevant for the determination of the pre-trade and post-trade large in scale thresholds;
• the determination of the average value of the transactions and the related the standard market size; and
• the determination of the average daily number of transactions on the most relevant market in terms of liquidity relevant for the determination of the tick-size regime.

Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer: Farmer Sentiment Rises During Commodity Price Rally - Concern Over Production Costs Remains

Farmer sentiment continues to fluctuate month-to-month as the Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer rose 6 points to a reading of 125 in February, a mirror image of the previous month. The Index of Current Conditions was down 1 point to a reading of 132, while the Index of Future Expectations improved 10 points to a reading of 122. The Ag Economy Barometer is calculated each month from 400 U.S. agricultural producers' responses to a telephone survey. This month's survey was conducted between February 14-18, 2022, days prior to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
