81% Of FTSE 100 Companies Lack Robust Plans To Reach Net Zero

EcoAct, an Atos company, has today released The Climate Reporting Performance of the FTSE 100, Euro STOXX 50 and DOW 30. The report, which includes a leader board ranking the top 20 companies for climate disclosure, found that just 19% of the FTSE 100 have long-term emissions reduction targets to meet net-zero goals and only 3% have a long-term emissions reduction target aligned with limiting global warming to 1.5°C with most having no provision for sequestration.

The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE), represented by Chief Executive Officer Mazen Wathaifi, participated in the 60th annual meeting of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), which was held via -visual communication technology. The meeting was opened by Mr. Urs Rüegsegger, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federation, in the presence of executive directors and representatives of member exchanges in the WFE from all over the world, to discuss many issues that concern the reality and future of the member exchanges. These meetings are an opportunity to exchange experiences, and activate joint cooperation at the regional and international levels.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange Revises The Rules For Handling Transfer By Agreement,Promoting Electronic Services By Making Better Use Of Data

To put in place the requirement of deepening reforms to streamline administration and delegate power, improve regulation and upgrade services, and ensure effective connection to new higher-level laws, SZSE released and implemented the revised version of the Guidelines of Shenzhen Stock Exchange for Handling the Business of Share Transfer by Agreement of Listed Companies (hereinafter referred to as the Guidelines) and its supporting guide, another effort to “reduce burdens and improve efficiency” after the service was optimized in July 2020. The Guidelines is to implement the latest provisions laid down in two higher-level laws and the requirements of promoting the electronic handling mode across the board and cancelling three application materials. It aims to make the transfer by agreement service more convenient and more standardized.
