  • Gas Tariffs Reports: ACER Recommends Slovenia To Improve The Compliance Of The Proposed Tariff Methodology

    The EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) publishes today its second report on the implementation of the EU Network Code on Harmonised Transmission Tariff Structures for Gas in Slovenia. In the report, ACER recommends that the Slovenian national regulatory authority for energy (NRA) improves the compliance of the reference price methodology with the requirements of the Tariff Network Code, including on transparency and on the choice of the cost drivers used to derive tariffs for all points of the network.

    ESMA Chair, Verena Ross, delivered the keynote speech at the DSW Conference “ESG – Next Level Reporting, Risk Management, Strategy and Responsibility” 2021. Ross reiterated that ambitious and targeted measures to address greenwashing will play an important role in the forthcoming ESMA activities in the sustainable finance area. The Authority intends to work closely with national securities regulators to promote a coordinated approach across the EU to tackling this issue.

  • Wild Bunch AG: BaFin Issues Warning Prior To The Imposition Of A Coercive Fine

    In a notice dated 11 November 2021, BaFin ordered Mr. Ingmarus Johannes Maria Snijders to comply with its obligations under section 35 (1) sentence 1 and section 10 (3) sentences 1 and 2 of the German Securities Acquisition and Takeover Act (Wertpapiererwerbs- und Übernahmegesetz – WpÜG) towards the shareholders of Wild Bunch AG, and warned that it would otherwise impose a coercive fine in the amount of EUR 10,000.
