DTCC Partners With Kingfield To Transform Corporate Actions Claims Process

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry, today announced its subsidiary, The Depository Trust Company (DTC), has connected its automated ClaimConnect solution to the claims processing platform offered by leading financial software provider Kingfield Corporation. The partnership will allow mutual clients, including State Street, to bilaterally manage claims and other types of exceptions using Kingfield’s platform. With this connectivity, firms will be able to automatically match claims before sending them to DTC for straight-through-processing and intraday settlement via securities payment orders (SPOs).

The ETF was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, on 27 July 2022.

The FCA has issued a Decision Notice to One Life Funeral Planning Ltd (One Life) refusing the firm’s application for authorisation. One Life could not demonstrate that it was able to meet or comply with the FCA’s regulatory standards. The concerns included the firm having poor sales practices.

On July 26, Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo met with government counterparts in Brussels, Belgium, including European Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni and Head of Cabinet of the President of the European Commission Bjoern Seibert. In these meetings, they discussed their continued support for the people and Government of Ukraine, including through economic assistance and the suspension of debt service payments. Deputy Secretary Adeyemo and his counterparts also agreed to continue discussions on a price cap on Russian oil to put downward pressure on global energy prices and restrict funding for Putin’s military. In addition, they discussed opportunities to build on the historic sanctions imposed on Russia, which have significantly weakened the Russian economy and military. These engagements follow the Deputy Secretary’s meetings with counterparts in Paris.
