Bursa Malaysia Invites Public Feedback On Proposed Transfer Of Listing Framework From LEAP To ACE Market

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“the Exchange”) is seeking public feedback on the proposed amendments to the ACE Market Listing Requirements (“ACE Market LR”), in relation to the transfer of the listing framework from the LEAP Market to the ACE Market (“Proposed LEAP Market Transfer Framework”). The public consultation also includes a proposal on a newly introduced recognised approved adviser framework (“Proposed Recognised Approved Adviser Framework”).

Kroll Threat Landscape Report – Q2 2022: Ransomware Returns, Healthcare Sector Targeted

In Q2 2022, Kroll observed a 90% increase in the number of healthcare organizations targeted in comparison with Q1 2022, dropping the final nail in the coffin for the “truce” some criminal groups instituted earlier in the COVID pandemic. Ransomware helped to fuel this uptick against healthcare as attacks increased this quarter to once again became the top threat, followed closely by email compromise.

ESMA Issues Opinion On Accepted Market Practice By Portuguese CMVM

JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. (JPXI) has collaborated with DATAZORA, Inc. (CEO: Aram Zinzalian), a company which collects and disseminates a wide range of listed company IR information and other information, to establish "JPX Listed Company ESG Information WEB (beta version)," a new portal which collects*1 links to ESG-related information disclosed by Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE)-listed companies on their own websites*2 and enables users such as investors and shareholders to search and browse this information in a single place free of charge. The new portal is scheduled to launch around fall 2022.

Broadridge has hired David Turmaine as UK Practice Lead for its Consulting Services business. David joins Broadridge from Capco, where he was Executive Director and responsible for driving digital transformation in the financial services industry. David’s long and distinguished career also includes a management role at Accenture where he was an industry SME for Accenture Post-Trade Processing, and prior to that a 12-year tenure at JP Morgan during which his responsibilities included head of securities and prime brokerage operations.

Global energy demand is forecasted to increase 47% by 2050, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), with power consumption expected to triple by 2050, as electrification and living standards grow. As the demand for energy sources continues to rise and with energy prices expected to increase, Solactive is pleased to announce that Strive Asset Management launched a new exchange-traded fund (ETF) with ETF Architect as the sponsor. The Strive U.S. Energy ETF seeks to track the Solactive United States Energy Regulated Capped Index and offers investors exposure to US companies and US listed securities within both traditional and renewable energy industries. The Strive U.S. Energy ETF started trading on August 9th 2022, under the stock code DRLL on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
