Bjørn Sibbern will succeed Jos Dijsselhof, who will step down to pursue a new professional opportunity in the Middle East after seven years with SIX. Jos Dijsselhof successfully developed SIX commercially and expanded it internationally.

  • Shanghai Stock Exchange Hosts Qatar Industrial Investment Cooperation Training Program

    Recently, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) partnered with the Investment Promotion Agency Qatar to host the "Qatar Industrial Investment Cooperation Training Program" in Shanghai. Representatives from 44 listed companies on the Main Board and the STAR Market, covering industries including information technology, manufacturing, materials, finance, and healthcare, participated in the event. The conference centered around Qatar’s investment environment and relevant policies, as well as the practical demands and concerns of Chinese enterprises regarding investments and operations in Qatar. It explored potential pathways for long-term capital from Qatar to invest in SSE-listed companies and effectively enhanced the participating enterprises' understanding of the Middle East and Qatar, providing critical guidance and references for future industry-finance cooperation between the two sides.
