Today, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen met with French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire and German Vice Chancellor and Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck. Secretary Yellen discussed the United States’ implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act and EU’s Green Deal Industrial Plan, stressing the need to stimulate innovation and technology development and deployment on both sides of the Atlantic to speed the transition to green energy and meet our collective climate goals.

Your commitment to spend time outside of your “day jobs” and your input on the challenges faced by small businesses, emerging companies, and smaller public companies have been greatly appreciated. Nodal Exchange Achieves January Trading Records In Power And Environmental Markets

Nodal Exchange today announced it achieved a calendar month trading record for January 2023 with 270.8 million MWh of traded power futures volume in the month, up 22% from the prior year. Nodal continues to be the market leader in North American power futures having the majority of the open interest with 1.13 billion MWh at the end of January.

It will be attended by decision-makers in the financial sector and senior executives in local, regional, and international financial institutions, as well as international investors, entrepreneurs, and prominent academics.

SEC Seeks Applicants For Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Seat

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced the start of the selection process to fill a seat on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) that will become vacant in October. The PCAOB appointment is for a five-year term from October 2023-October 2028. Under the current composition of the PCAOB Board, the candidate selected must be or have been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
