  • Baltic Stock Exchanges Monthly Statistics May 2001

    In the joint press release as of 28 May 2001, the NOREX alliance, the NSEL, and the Riga Stock Exchange informed that the parties had decided to formally put the co-operation on hold, while the exchanges of Lithuania and Riga explore other possible co-operation arrangements. The relations between the parties continue to be one of mutual trust and friendship.

  • All FTSE Indices To Be Fully Free Float Adjusted After Index Close On 15 June 2001

    The entire range of FTSE indices will be fully free float adjusted to reflect availability of stock in the market available for public investment on 18 June 2001. Constituents of all FTSE indices not already free float adjusted will be changed to reflect the stock available in the markets, according to FTSE's free float rules. This will result in the re-weighting of many index constituents, mostly from Developed markets (although a large number of constituents are already adjusted).

  • The Central Bank Of Iceland Auctions Repurchase Agreements For 34.5 Billion Krónur

    The Central Bank of Iceland held a weekly auction of repurchase agreements on June 12 of the maturity of 14 days. The auction was a fixed rate one at 10.9 per cent p.a. Offers were made for a total amount of 34.5 billion krónur resulting in repurchase contracts for that amount.
