    The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today announced that it would introduce calendar spread options contracts for light, sweet crude oil and Brent crude oil on September 21; natural gas and heating oil on October 5; and unleaded gasoline on October 12.

    Hong Kong Futures Exchange, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announced today (Tuesday) that new rules and rule amendments establishing a Remote Trading Access (RTA) programme have been approved by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and are effective immediately.

  • CFTC Adopts First Set Of Final Rules On Single-Stock Futures

    In accordance with the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 (CFMA), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has adopted the first set of final rules relating to the trading of futures contracts based on single securities and narrow-based security indices (together, security futures products or SFPs) as its moves ahead with implementation of the CFMA.
