  • CBOE Increases Up To 250 Contracts Order Size Eligible For Automatic Execution In RCQ, RDZ Options Effective Immediately

    The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the world's largest options exchange, today announced that, effective immediately, select option orders for Broadcom, Inc. (ticker symbols RCQ and RDZ) of up to 250 contracts and LEAPS (Long-Term Equity AnticiPation Secutities) option orders (ticker symbols ORD, OGJ, VJG, OYG, and LGJ) of up to 100 contracts are now eligible for automatic execution on CBOE's Retail Automatic Execution System (RAES).

    Furnmart reported disappointing interim results for the six months to 31st January 2002. Revenue fell 20.3% to P37.4m with operating income down 30.4% to P6.1m. Income before tax was down 46.2% at P4.1m, while earnings were half those of last year at P2.8m. The results also included a foreign exchange loss of P1.6m (on a loan to the Namibian subsidiary) as a result of the depreciation of Namibian Dollar against the pula. The drop in revenue was attributed to extremely difficult trading condition

  • ASX Listing Rule Amendments For Foreign Companies

    The Australian Stock Exchange Ltd (ASX) will proceed with Listing Rule amendments which raise the threshold for admission to the Foreign Exempt category. To be eligible, entities must have $A2 billion of net assets, or $A200 million profit after tax in each of the previous three years.

  • Winnipeg Commodity Exchange - Old Crop/New Crop Canola Price Trends

    To date this crop year, both Jul 02 and Nov 02 canola futures have been trading at levels above those seen in the previous year. In mid-October 2001, Nov 02 canola futures reached a contract low of $288.00/tonne. Since then, Nov 02 futures have trended higher reaching a contract high of $341.50/tonne on March 12, 2002 and ending the month at $333.00/tonne.
