Notice On Adjusting The Maximum Order Quantity For Soybean Meal And Corn Options Of Dalian Commodity Exchange

Dalian Commodity Exchange has decided upon discussion that starting from the trading session on July 17, 2023 (i.e., the night trading session on July 14), the maximum quantity of orders placed each time for soybean meal options will be adjusted to 1,000 lots, and the maximum quantity of orders placed each time for corn options will be adjusted to 2,000 lots. The aforementioned adjustments will be implemented for soybean meal and corn options commencing with the July 2024 contracts and beyond.

CFTC Charges Unregistered Michigan Commodity Pool Operator and its President with $13 Million Fraud

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission filed a civil enforcement action in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan against Dwight A. Foster (Foster) and his firm K.E.L. Enterprises, Inc. (KEL), both based in the West Bloomfield, Michigan area. The complaint charges Foster and KEL with fraud, registration, and books and records violations relating to a multimillion-dollar fraudulent scheme that solicited and accepted approximately $13.2 million from customers in the U.S.
