CFFEX Launches Support Program To Promote Participation Of Mid- And Long-Term Institutional Investors

On July 28, 2023, China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) announced the launch of Changfeng Program 2023, a support program to promote the participation of mid- and long-term institutional investors, on August 1, 2023. The Changfeng Program aims to form synergy in promoting the participation of institutional investors, especially mid- and long-term investors including mutual funds, insurers, pension funds, annuities, etc., in the financial futures market in a bid to better serve national strategies and the real economy.

Carbon Management Event At “Shenzhen Stock Exchange Chuangxianghui” To Help Enterprises Achieve Sustainable Development Through Green And Low-Carbon Transformation

On July 28, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (“SZSE”) held the “Chuangxianghui” Carbon Management Event, inviting more than 20 participants to jointly discuss the road of green sustainable development in China under the new situation and the capital market's support for green and low-carbon transformation of traditional enterprises. The participants include persons in charge of listed companies having rich experience in promoting industrial structure adjustment and optimization and accelerating the green transformation of development mode such as Shanxi Coking Coal, RSPC, SF Holding and CR Sanjiu, people taking charge of typical enterprises in the R&D and application industry of energy saving and carbon reduction technology, representatives of the listed and pre-IPO companies in related fields, and experts from carbon finance services institutions. All parties involved actively participated in and unanimously recognized the event.

Monetary Authority Of Singapore To Strengthen Defence Against Money Laundering Risks In Single Family Offices

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) today launched a public consultation on a revised framework to strengthen surveillance and defence against money laundering (ML) risks in Singapore’s Single Family Office (SFO) sector. The revised framework will introduce a harmonised class exemption for SFOs with specific requirements to ensure that all SFOs are subject to anti-money laundering controls.
