Eurex US Receives Approval From French Regulatory Authorities - Nandapurkar: Eurex US Seeing Increased Flow From Europe

French market participants can now trade directly on the new fully electronic U.S. futures and options exchange Eurex US, following approval from French regulatory authorities. Eurex US was recognized as a foreign exchange pursuant to a Decree of the French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, after prior clearance by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, will today formally open the new London Stock Exchange building by switching on ‘The Source,’ a specially commissioned artwork reflecting the nature of financial markets in the electronic age.
