Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Japan MidCap 100 and S&P Japan 500 Indices effective after the close of trading, Thursday June 17th 2004: Nidec Corp (Japan, SEDOL: 6640682, GICS: Information Technology, GICS Code: 45203010) a member of the S&P Japan MidCap 100 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 5,000,000 to 70,018,044 due to the public offering.

Oslo Børs Completes Allocation Of Companies To Liquidity Categories

National Stock Exchange(SM) May 2004 Trades Increase 139 Percent And Share Volume Rises 85 Percent From Year Earlier Levels

National Stock Exchange (NSX(SM)) today announced that the number of trades in May 2004 rose 139 percent to 24.1 million, compared with 10.1 million trades in May 2003. Share volume in May 2004 of 10.2 billion increased 85 percent from 5.5 billion a year earlier.

Merger Of Two Historic Exchanges Completed As CSCE And NYCE Become The New York Board Of Trade

Today, the exchanges of the Coffee, Sugar & Cocoa Exchange, Inc. (CSCE – founded in 1882), and the New York Cotton Exchange (NYCEâ – founded in 1870), officially become one exchange – the Board of Trade of the City of New York, Inc., or as it has come to be known, the New York Board of Tradeâ (NYBOTâ).

London Metal Exchange Announces Detailed Plastics Contract Specifications

The London Metal Exchange (LME) has today provided the detail of the contract specifications for both Polypropylene and Linear Low Density Polyethylene – the two plastics contracts that are to be traded on the LME.
