TSX Group CO-CEO Speaks In Mexico - Richard Nesbitt Calls For Securities Cooperation Under The NAFTA Framework While At A Major Securities Forum In Mexico City

TSX Group Co-CEO Richard Nesbitt today called on securities officials from Canada, the U.S. and Mexico to “do for securities what NAFTA has done for trade.” Mr. Nesbitt is among the headline speakers at the 15th Securities Market Convention in Mexico City. The theme of the event, which is being held at the Sheraton Centro Historico Hotel, is "Innovating for a better market."

Today, the SWX Swiss Exchange is launching two new indices: the SMIM® and the SMI ExpandedTM. This is a significant addition to the tradeable indices on the Swiss financial marketplace. The SMI®, SMIM® and SMI ExpandedTM together form the SMI® family, covering Switzerland's largest and most liquid stocks, and are ideal underlying instruments for investment products such as options, futures and ETFs.

SWX Swiss Exchange: New possibilities For Eurobond Listing

The SWX Swiss Exchange aims to improve its position in the Eurobond market by issuing new listing rules for bonds. The objective of the new rules is to increase the appeal of the SWX as a listing platform without compromising existing transparency requirements. The new rules enter into force as of 1 February 2005.

Black, former Deputy Chairman and COO F. David Radler, and Hollinger, Inc., a Canadian public holding company controlled by Black.
