UK's Financial Services Authority 2006 Financial Risk Outlook Emphasises The Need For Stress Testing

The Financial Services Authority has today published its Financial Risk Outlook 2006. It highlights the risks that the FSA believes will be most important in the next eighteen months and how these could affect its ability to achieve its statutory objectives and strategic aims. The Financial Risk Outlook therefore provides the background against which the FSA sets its priorities for the year. These will be detailed in its annual Business Plan, to be published next week.

Standard & Poor's Announces the S&P/TSX Canadian Bond Index Rebalancing Report For January 2006

Standard & Poor's has completed the monthly rebalancing of the S&P/TSX Canadian Bond Index. According to index methodology, the universe of Canadian bonds is exhaustively reviewed to reflect changes in par amount and term to existing index constituents. Qualifying new issues are added to the index and existing constituents that no longer meet the criteria for inclusion are removed.

Singapore Exchange Ltd (SGX) today announced that the SGX-MAS Research Incentive Scheme (the "Scheme") has been extended for a further two years, beginning January 2006, in response to strong demand from SGX-listed companies, research firms and investors.
