Futures And Options On RTS Stock Exchange: Trading Volume In Futures On Gold Exceeded 20 Thousand Contracts

During August 30, 2006 trading session of FORTS the previous futures trading record on gold was exceeded. By the end of the day the trading volume in futures on gold reached almost 22 thousand contracts and 360,1 mln RUR which is a record value. The previous record was registered on August the 18th, when, according to the trading session results, the trading volume reached 18 thousand contracts or 297,5 mln RUR.
