Kuwait Stock Exchange Trading Report For December 2006

The index of the Kuwait Stock Exchange reached 10,067 points at the end of December, an increase of 312 points from the closing value at the end of November. The weighted index reached 531.71 points at the end of December, an increase of 17.71 points from the closing value at the end of November.
Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, February 6, 2007: Baja Mining Corp. (TSXVN:BAJ) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to the TSX to trade under the same ticker symbol. Minera Andes Inc. (TSXVN:MAI) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to the TSX to trade under the same ticker symbol.

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: Gold Fields Limited (NYSE:GFI) has completed the acquisition of Western Areas Limited (JSE:WARJ). The relative weight of Gold Fields Limited will increase in the S&P/TSX Global Gold Index to reflect the issuance of shares as part of the transaction, which will be effective after the close of Tuesday, February 13, 2007.
