Total volume of trade on Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. (WCE) for the month of April 2007 was 294,233 contracts representing an increase of 18% from April 2006. This level of total trade is also 30.4% over that recorded last month.

Kansas City Board of Trade volume traded during the month of April was 65.1 percent higher than March 2007 volume. This increase was fueled by the hard red winter wheat contract, which posted an increase of 63.2 percent more than that traded in March.

NYMEX Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: NMX), parent company of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (NYMEX), today reported that total operating revenues for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007, rose 47% to $164.2 million compared to $111.7 million for the first quarter 2006. Net income for the first quarter 2007 increased 67% to $56.2 million compared to $33.6 million for the first quarter 2006. The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), one of the world’s leading derivatives exchanges, today announced that April’s total volume was 61,386,684 contracts, an increase of 7 percent compared with April 2006. Average daily volume (ADV) for the month was 2,923,175 contracts, down 3 percent over the same month last year. ADV on the Exchange’s e-cbot electronic trading platform was 2,237,037 contracts in April, a 13 percent increase compared with April 2006. Year-to-date, CBOT ADV is 3,627,283 contra
