Shanghai Futures Exchange Modifies Aluminum Tick Size And Position Limit

SHFE has announced revising the tick size and position limit for its aluminum futures contract. From contract AL0805 and forward, the tick size is 5yuan/ton. From contract AL0709 and forward, the position limit one month prior to the spot month is: for brokerage member, 10000 lots; for non-brokerage member, 1500 lots; for investor, 1000 lots.

NYSE Euronext Announces NYSE Group First Quarter 2007 Financial Results

NYSE Euronext (NYSE Euronext: NYX) today reported results for NYSE Group of net income of $67.6 million, or $0.43 per diluted share, for the three months ended March 31, 2007, a $37.3 million or 123% increase as compared to net income of $30.3 million, or $0.24 per diluted share, for the three months ended March 31, 2006. These results are presented in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
