ISE Reports Monthly Volume For June 2007 - Average Daily Volume Of 3.0 Million Contracts

The International Securities Exchange (NYSE:ISE) today reported that average daily trading volume for equity and index options contracts for June 2007 increased 34.9% to 3.0 million contracts as compared to 2.2 million contracts during the same period in 2006. Total equity and index options volume for the month increased 28.7% to 62.6 million contracts from 48.6 million contracts in the same year-ago period.

Strongest Six Months Ever For The Nordic Exchange

Liquidity has increased across all our markets on the Nordic Exchange during the first half-year 2007. Since the peak in year 2000 the daily share trading volumes on the Nordic Exchange have increased 67 per cent. In the first six months new turnover records have been set four times on the Nordic Exchange and 54 companies have also been welcomed to the Nordic Exchange, as compared to 43 for the first six months 2006. The Nordic Exchange now encompasses 834 companies.

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®), one of the world’s leading derivatives exchanges, today announced that it set a new record for quarterly trading volume, with 255,947,010 contracts traded during the second quarter of 2007. Total second quarter volume increased by 23 percent compared with the same quarter in 2006. Exchange average daily volume (ADV) reached a record 3,999,172 contracts during the second quarter, up 21 percent over the second quarter of 2006.

CME, the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, today announced June volume averaged a record 8.0 million contracts per day, up 25 percent from June 2006. Total monthly volume was 168 million contracts. Volume on the CME Globex electronic trading platform averaged a record 6.1 million contracts per day, up 37 percent from June 2006, and, represented 76 percent of total exchange volume. EEX: Reduced Transaction Fees For Gas Trading

The EEX shall offer reduced transaction fees for trading in natural gas from the start of trading on 2 July 2007 as a gesture to the market. The reduction of the transaction fees which is valid until the end of 2007 applies for both the spot and derivatives market. This makes the trading for the participants even more attractive. The fee structure for the individual markets in this timeframe is as follows:
