Dalian Commodity Exchange's Daily Turnover Hit A New High This Year

Powered by the brisk trading of soybean and related futures, the Dalian Commodity Exchange on July 12 achieved a turnover of 55.1 billion yuan, the highest in daily turnover this year. Remarkably, it was also a second successive day that the DCE's daily turnover exceeded 50 billion yuan. The previous record this year was on June 27, and contacts worth 49.2 billion changed hands on that day.

Now that the Dalian Commodity Exchange has released a draft version of the LLDPE futures contracts to seek recommendations, it has tested the LLDPE futures trading system on July 13 and 20. The tests are the final steps to the launch of the LLDPE futures, analyst said.
