  • Trading Volume On The BME Markets Reached €138.25 Bn, 52.3% Up On The Year

    Equity trading volume to May came in at €678.92 bn, 54.8% up on the same period in 2006. The value of trading in warrants and certificates in May was 43.7% up on the same month a year earlier. Options and Futures: trading on MEFF was 2,607,501 contracts in May. Highlights include Stock Futures and IBEX 35 Mini Futures, with growth rates of 32% and 30% respectively. Corporate Debt trading in May was €93.75 bn, 18.6% up on the year.

Cause for the sanction relate to an improper audit opinion submitted by Fiduciaire Michel Favre SA in its capacity as group auditors of an SWX-listed company.
