International Securities Exchange Reports Record Monthly Volume for May 2007 - Average Daily Volume Of 3.0 Million Contracts

The International Securities Exchange (NYSE:ISE) today reported that average daily trading volume for equity and index options contracts for May 2007 increased 14.1% to 3.0 million contracts as compared to 2.6 million contracts during the same period in 2006. Total equity and index options volume for the month increased 14.1% to 66.1 million contracts from 57.9 million contracts in the same year-ago period.

The Nordic Exchange was launched on October 2, 2006, and since then an increasing number of companies have joined. 28 companies have been listed on the main market and 34 companies have joined First North.

Oslo Børs Benchmark Index Reaches 500

The main index for the Oslo stock market, the Oslo Børs Benchmark Index, passed the 500 mark for the first time today. The Benchmark Index has gained 13.5 % so far this year, and is up more than 400 % from the low point seen in February 2003. The total market capitalisation as at 1 June of companies listed on Oslo Børs is appr. NOK 2.250 million.

The MICEX Settlement House Opens Its Branch In Vladivostok

The MICEX Settlement House has opened a branch in Vladivostok (the Maritime branch of the MICEX SH), which the Bank of Russia’s Moscow Main Territorial Department has entered into the State Registration Book for credit institutions (registration # 3294/2). Trading Volume On The BME Markets Reached €138.25 Bn, 52.3% Up On The Year

Equity trading volume to May came in at €678.92 bn, 54.8% up on the same period in 2006. The value of trading in warrants and certificates in May was 43.7% up on the same month a year earlier. Options and Futures: trading on MEFF was 2,607,501 contracts in May. Highlights include Stock Futures and IBEX 35 Mini Futures, with growth rates of 32% and 30% respectively. Corporate Debt trading in May was €93.75 bn, 18.6% up on the year.

SWX Swiss Exchange Fines Fiduciaire Michel Favre SA

The Executive Committee of the SWX Swiss Exchange Admission Board has issued a fine against Fiduciaire Michel Favre SA, Lausanne, for violation of the provisions of the Listing Rules. Cause for the sanction relate to an improper audit opinion submitted by Fiduciaire Michel Favre SA in its capacity as group auditors of an SWX-listed company.
