Vienna Index, ATX, Continues To Soar And Climbs Over 5,000 Points

Today at 09.22 hrs, the ATX broke through the 5,000-point-mark for the first time. Vienna’s most important index continues its brilliant performance of the past few years – gaining 334.76% since year-end 2002 – and despite temporary price corrections at the end of January and in June, it has advanced by 12.02% since the beginning of this year.

The Directorate of the MICEX Stock Exchange has adopted the waiting list of the MICEX Index for the 3rd quarter of 2007. In the 3rd quarter the waiting list will be supplemented with stocks of VTB Bank, MMK, JGK-2, KAMAZ, VolgaTelecom, Polimetall, KALINA Concern and UAZ. Stocks of OGK-6 and Vozrozhdenie Bank have been excluded from the list.
