The Securities and Exchange Commission has filed securities fraud charges against two Texas individuals in a high-tech scam that hijacked personal computers nationwide to disseminate millions of spam emails and cheat investors out of more than $4.6 million. SEC Announces $316 Million Fair Fund Distribution To Investors Harmed By Fraud At Time Warner - Distribution Marks The Commission's Distribution Of More Than $2 Billion Of Fair Fund Monies To Injured Investors

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that it commenced the distribution of the Fair Fund created as part of a settlement with Time Warner Inc. on charges of improper financial reporting and disclosure. The distribution is expected to be completed in approximately ten days.

CME And CBOT Shareholders Approve Merger- Companies Expect To Complete Historic Combination Within Days

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. (NYSE/Nasdaq: CME) and CBOT Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: BOT) today announced that preliminary results indicate the shareholders of both companies have approved the proposed merger of CME and CBOT Holdings, based on a review of the proxies voted at today's special meetings by the parties’ respective proxy solicitors. In addition, preliminary results also show that CBOT members have voted to approve certain related matters in a separate member vote.
