New Distribution Of Tasks Between The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority And OMX Nordic Exchange Copenhagen – Disclosure Requirements

As of November 1, 2007, the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority will decide cases regarding the disclosure requirements of the Danish Securities Trading Act. Among other things, this is a consequence of the new rules of law in connection with the implementation of the Directive on markets in financial instruments (MiFID). SWX And virt-x Cut Costs Of Trading By CHF 40 M With Revised Pricing Model

The SWX Swiss Exchange and virt-x, its London-based securities exchange, today announced a substantial reduction of their fees and a revised pricing model that will take effect on 1 April 2008. The lower fees will deliver CHF 40m in estimated annual savings for users (based on 2007 first half-year revenues); this represents a further 15% reduction in the cost of trading following a headline price cut of 15% on virt-x at the start of 2007.

The Financial Services Agency recently published the proposal for Cabinet Orders and Cabinet Office Ordinances to implement revised Certified Public Accountants Law etc. which were passed by the Diet in June 2007 and are expected to take effect in April 2008. The entire Proposed Cabinet Orders and the Cabinet Office Ordinances are now on public consultation and available in Japanese on the Financial Services Agency's website.
