SEC Wins First-Ever Federal Agency Pro Bono Leadership Award

The Securities and Exchange Commission will receive the inaugural Federal Agency Pro Bono Leadership Award tomorrow for its outstanding commitment to the local community and helping others in need. The award from the Interagency Pro Bono Working Group is the federal government's highest honor for efforts to promote pro bono service by employees.

CBOE Seat Sale Of $2.75m Sets New Record High Today

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced that three CBOE seats, or memberships, traded this morning, Wednesday, two at the previous record high price of $2,700,000 and one at a new record high price of $2,750,000. The previous record high price of $2,700,000 for a CBOE seat was set on August 6, 2007.

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. ("NASDAQ(r)"; (Nasdaq:NDAQ), today reported third quarter 2007 net income of $365.0 million, or $2.41 per diluted share, an increase of $334.8 million from $30.2 million, or $0.22 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2006, and an increase of $308.9 million from $56.1 million, or $0.39 per diluted share, in the second quarter of 2007.

CME Group Inc. Reports Strong Third-Quarter Revenues And Profits

CME Group Inc. (NYSE, Nasdaq: CME) today reported total revenues increased 106 percent to $565 million and net income increased 94 percent to $202 million for third-quarter 2007 compared with third-quarter 2006.
