Changes In The Composition Of The Athex Indices

Following the continuance of the suspension of trading of the shares of the company «ASPIS PRONIA GENERAL INSURANCES S.A.» and according to the FTSE/Athex Index Series Ground Rules (par.7.4) the following changes will take place in the composition of the FTSE/Athex Index Series.

The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) member and non-member organizations today reported short interest of 1,488,799,965 shares as of the July 31, 2008 settlement date, an increase of 19,118,096 from the 1,469,681,869 (adjusted) shares reported on July 15, 2008. The figure represents trades through July 28, 2008.
